What with all the marketing spin around IT today, it's getting harder to work out what things are.

I was looking for a bit of information on webMethods today (what is it? is it a J2EE framework? what are its features?), and found this on their homepage:

webMethods Fabric 6.5 enables customers to leverage their existing IT assets and gain unprecedented visibility into their business processes to increase business process productivity. Faster!

What does that mean? What is webMethods? If anyone knows, please tell me!
