... but Matt's still here. Writing on the blog hasn't been a top priority lately, but I'm thinking maybe it will work its way closer to the top in the next few weeks.
Saw an amazingly fantastical Counting Crows concert last week. Gosh.. what to say? Best concert I've seen maybe. Played lots of the their old songs (oh, and the TAXI SONG... everyone kept asking me about that, but I never knew what it was until I heard it, and knew I'd heard it before. So anyway.) but they were just so good.
It seems a lot of companies are recruiting graduates for next year. Since it's my last year at UTS, maybe I should be applying. I never really liked the idea of "graduate positions", though, so I might just look for a position vacant towards the end of the year.
Just the same I think this round of writing resumes, applications and attending interviews might be good practice.
Started International Business at uni last week. Pretty good subject. But funny: the subject outline says, "This subject is about facts. The more facts you know, the more marks you will get." Hope I know enough facts at the end... ;)
In case anyone hasn't heard, the next Robert Jordan book (number 10) is out. It's called Crossroads of Twilight. Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I've heard from friends that there's definitely no chance of any action, adventure or excitement occuring in this book.
Instead, my current reading is the Australian Style Guide, the Mythical Man-Month by Fred Brooks, and the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
I've also been reading Ward Cunningham's wiki, and I might get around to starting one sometime soon.
