Tomcat and Apache documentation

I spent some time today consolidated and improving our documentation for getting Confluence working with Apache. Even though our old documentation was pretty sparse, some people commented that they found it much more useful than scouring the Apache and Tomcat documentation for examples.

For that reason, I thought I'd mention here if you're looking for examples of any of the following configurations:

  • connecting Apache to any application server with mod_proxy
  • connecting Apache to Tomcat with mod_jk
  • using Apache virtual hosts with a mod_proxy configuration
  • configuring Tomcat virtual hosts

check out our suggested Apache configurations.
